Sausages with Mushrooms in Tomato Sauce

Ingredients

350 g Carniolan sausage

1 piece Onion, raw

200 g Mushrooms, mushrooms, fresh

80 g Mushrooms, shiitake, dried

200 g Tomato, pieces - can

50 g Oil, olive

1 dl Alcohol, Wine, Red

2 pinch Salt, table

2 pinch Spices, pepper, black
Steps

Clean the mushrooms, rinse them quickly under running water, and slice them. Peel the onion and chop it finely. Cut the sausages into shorter pieces. Drain the porcini mushrooms and chop them coarsely.

Heat oil in a wider pot with a thick bottom, and sauté the chopped onion and sausage pieces while stirring. Once the onion softens, pour in the wine and wait for it to evaporate.

Add the mushrooms and porcini, and sauté them while stirring for 5 minutes. Then add the chopped tomatoes, salt, and pepper, mix everything well, and let it cook over moderate heat for 20 minutes.

Taste the finished dish and add more salt and pepper if needed. Serve on plates and accompany with your chosen side dish.
