Seared Tuna with Sesame
Seared tuna, coated in a thin layer of black sesame seeds, with an excellent taste and an interesting appearance.

Ingredients
Marinade

1 spoon Soy sauce, shoyu, less salt

2 teaspoons Oil, sesame

2 teaspoons Juice, lime

1 teaspoon Vinegar, distilled

1 teaspoon Spices, ginger, ground

450 g Fish, Tuna, yellowtail

1 handful Sesame seeds, dried

3 pieces Small pumpkins

4 pieces Radish

1 handful Salad, soft
Steps

Rinse the tuna under running water and dry it with a paper towel. Cut it into 4 equal rectangular pieces.

In a shallow bowl, mix all the ingredients for the marinade. Spread the sesame seeds on a clean shallow plate. Dip each piece of tuna into the prepared marinade on all four sides, then roll it in the sesame seeds on the same sides. Prepare all four pieces this way.

Place a pan on the stove and heat it over medium-high heat for 5 minutes. Then sear the tuna pieces on all sides coated with sesame seeds. Sear each side for no more than 15 seconds. Repeat the process with all the pieces.

Wash and clean the zucchini, radishes, and cress. Slice the radishes into rounds, and use a potato peeler to cut the zucchini into very thin slices.

Prepare four plates. On each plate, arrange a small pile of zucchini slices. Slice the seared tuna into 1 cm thick pieces and place them on top of the zucchini. Form a small cup with the radish slices on top and add some cress inside. Serve immediately.

Advice
Instead of black sesame, you can also use regular sesame seeds, which you can lightly toast in a dry pan beforehand. Instead of cress, you can use sprouts (e.g., radish, watercress…).
