Ingredients
-
350 g Fish, shrimp
-
1 pod Garlic, fresh
-
75 g Bamboo shoots, soaked
-
1 spoon Coriander, leaves, fresh
-
1 teaspoon Ginger, fresh
-
2 piece Egg, fresh
-
0.25 teaspoons Spices, pepper, white
-
0.5 teaspoons Salt, table
-
12 slice Bread, wheat
-
115 g Sesame seeds, dried
-
pieces Oil, sesame
Steps
-
Drain the bamboo shoots well. Wash, clean, and peel the shrimp, leaving only the tails. Peel the garlic. Separate the egg whites from the yolks into two small bowls. In a multipurpose blender, add the shrimp tails, garlic, bamboo shoots, coriander, ginger, egg whites, pepper, and salt. Blend everything together for about 30 seconds until a smooth mixture forms.
-
Trim the crusts off the toast slices, then stack them on top of each other and cut into 4 equal triangles. Lightly beat the egg yolks with a fork. Brush the top sides of the triangles first with the egg yolk (using a brush), then spread the shrimp mixture on top, and finally sprinkle with sesame seeds.
-
Heat the frying oil in a large pot. When the oil is hot enough, dip a few toasts at a time into the oil, frying them with the coated side facing down for about 15 seconds until golden brown. Carefully remove the fried toasts with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Repeat the process until all the toasts are fried.
-
Serve the toasts while still warm. You can also offer various dips on the side.
