Ingredients
-
4 pieces Lime, fresh
-
12 pieces Fish, shrimp
-
1 pod Garlic, fresh
-
3 spoons Oil, olive
-
1 piece Onion, raw
-
3 pinch Salt, table
-
1 pinch Spices, pepper, black
-
4 twig Parsley, fresh
Steps
-
Thoroughly wash the limes and dry them with a kitchen towel. Finely grate the zest of two limes, then cut both fruits in half and squeeze the juice from all halves. Slice the remaining two limes and set aside for later.
-
Thoroughly wash the shrimp and dry them with paper towels. Wrap and remove the heads and legs of the shrimp, leaving the tails and shells. Make a shallow cut on the underside of the shrimp with a sharp knife and remove the dark intestine, discarding it. Peel the onion and garlic, then finely chop each separately. Wash the parsley, shake it dry, and finely chop it.
-
Place a large pan on the stove and heat the oil. Add the shrimp to the hot oil and sauté them for about 5 minutes until they turn slightly pink and curl up slightly. Turn the shrimp while cooking to sear them on both sides. Then add the garlic to the pan and sauté it with the shrimp for about half a minute.
-
Mix the grated lime zest and juice into the shrimp, and season everything with salt and pepper to taste. Finally, sprinkle the shrimp with chopped parsley and onion. Serve the prepared dish on plates decorated with lime slices.

Advice
Its best to use organic lime, whose peel is not treated with pesticides. If organic lime is not available, immerse the lime in boiling water for a few minutes and wipe it thoroughly to remove the wax containing toxins. Instead of lime, you can use lemon.
