Ingredients
-

-
pieces Milk, whole milk
Wheat semolina
-
1 l Milk, whole milk
-
180 g Sugar, white
-
1 pinch Salt, table
-
150 g Semolina
-
50 g Butter, unsalted
-
1 bag Sugar, white
-
pieces Orange, shell
Steps
-
Place a pot with milk and sugar on the stove. Heat slowly over medium heat while stirring to dissolve the sugar. Add wheat semolina to the hot milk and a pinch of salt. Stir continuously and cook until the mixture thickens appropriately. Remove from heat and mix in butter, vanilla sugar, and grated orange zest.
-
Take a glass baking dish (20 x 30 cm) or another container with straight sides and layer the bottom with biscuits soaked in milk. Spread 1/3 of the cooked semolina over the biscuits.
-
Repeat the process two more times, dipping the biscuits in milk as you go. Smooth the top layer of semolina, then cover the dish with transparent food wrap and refrigerate for about 3 hours to allow the biscuits to soften and the semolina cream to set.
-
Once the dessert is ready, cut it into pieces and decorate as desired with fruit, chocolate, crushed biscuits, ground nuts, coconut, etc.
