Sincronizada
It is true that sincronizada is very similar to a quesadilla. However, there are important differences. Sincronizada is usually filled with ham and made from wheat tortillas. Originally, it is served cut into six pieces, without any sauce.

Ingredients

4 pieces Tortilla, wheat

150 g Cheese, Cheddar

4 slice Ham, pressed

2 piece Chili peppers, red chili, fresh

1 piece Tomato, red

Grate the cheese coarsely. Cut the ham slices into strips. Remove the seeds from the chili peppers and slice them into thin rings. Wash the tomato and cut it in half. Slice both halves into thin pieces.

Place two tortillas side by side on a clean work surface. Sprinkle half of the grated cheese over them. Arrange half of the sliced ham over the cheese. Then distribute the tomato slices and chili rings over both tortillas. Finally, add the remaining cheese and ham. Cover with the remaining two tortillas.

Place a pan on the stove and heat it well. Place the sincronizada in the hot pan. Once the tortilla on the bottom side is toasted and crispy, carefully flip the sincronizada and toast the other side. Repeat the same process for the second sincronizada.

Cut each sincronizada into six pieces. Serve the pieces on plates or a large serving platter and enjoy.
