Ingredients

400 g Fish, mackerel

250 g Cheese, creamy

2 pod Garlic, fresh

1 piece Lemon, fresh, without shell

1 bouquet Parsley, fresh

Cut the smoked mackerel fillets into smaller pieces. Peel the garlic, thoroughly wash the parsley, then finely chop both. Zest the lemon and reserve the juice. Combine the ingredients in a blender and add the cream cheese.

Blend for just a few minutes, allowing the ingredients to mix slightly. The mixture should still be slightly chunky. Season with salt and pepper to taste and mix well. Transfer the pâté to a serving dish, cover with foil, and refrigerate for at least one hour. Serve the chilled pâté spread on toasted bread slices or directly in the dish.
