Thoroughly wash the lettuce leaves, dry them, and use them to line a larger bowl. Remove the skin from the mackerel fillets and cut them into 1 cm thick rings. Cut the lemon in half and squeeze the juice from one half.

Arrange the mackerel rings at the bottom of the bowl and drizzle them with lemon juice. Season with pepper and salt to taste. Add black olives and serve to your guests.
