Ingredients
-
1 piece Onion, young
-
2.5 spoons Oil, olive
-
3 slices Meat, pork, smoked bacon
-
4 twig Parsley, fresh
-
800 g Tomato, pieces - can
-
0.75 teaspoons Salt, table
-
2 spoons Alcohol, Wine, White
-
0.25 teaspoons Basil, fresh
-
400 g Pasta, spaghetti, spinach
-
100 g Cheese, Parmesan, grated
Steps
-
Wash the parsley, dry it, and chop it finely. Cut the bacon into smaller pieces. Clean the young onion, wash it, and chop it finely. Heat oil in a pan and sauté the onion, stirring constantly. Once the onion softens, add the parsley and bacon. Fry everything together for about 3 more minutes.
-
Peel the tomatoes and add them whole to the pan. Pour in half a cup of water and cook the sauce over low heat for about 20 minutes. Stir it several times and use a cooking spoon to break up the tomatoes. At the end, enhance the flavor with a tablespoon of white wine, salt, and basil. Bring the sauce to a boil and then remove it from the heat.
-
While preparing the sauce, place a large pot with plenty of cold water on the stove. Once the water boils, add salt and the spaghetti. Cook the spaghetti for the time indicated on the package, being careful not to overcook it. Rinse the cooked spaghetti with cold water and drain it well.
-
Divide the spaghetti onto plates and pour the cooked sauce over it. Serve with Parmesan or another grated cheese on the side in a separate bowl.

Advice
Instead of fresh tomatoes, you can also use peeled canned tomatoes. If desired, remove the seeds from the tomatoes. Dried basil can be replaced with fresh, and you can also use other spices such as oregano and rosemary if you like.
