Spicy Goulash with Potatoes and Sausage

Peel the onion and chop it finely. Heat oil or fat in a large pot and sauté the chopped onion until translucent.

Slice the sausages into rings or pieces. Add paprika to the sautéed onion. Then add the sliced sausage, mix the ingredients well, and pour in 1.5 liters of water. Bring the mixture to a boil.

Peel the potatoes, wash them, and cut them into pieces. Halve the pickles and slice them into 0.5 cm thick pieces. Once the goulash is boiling, add the chopped ingredients to the pot and cook everything on medium heat for about 15 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender. Season the goulash with pepper and salt to taste.

In a small bowl, mix flour and water until smooth. You should get a thick liquid mixture, which you then stir into the goulash. Cook the goulash a little longer to thicken.

Serve the prepared dish in deep bowls or soup cups and accompany it with bread.
