Ingredients
-
8 pieces Egg, fresh
-
120 ml Milk, whole milk
-
50 g Cheese, Cheddar
-
2 spoons Oil, olive
-
1 piece Shallot
-
2 pod Garlic, fresh
-
2 handfuls Spinach, raw
-
100 g Meat, pork, smoked ham
-
pieces Salt, table
Steps
-
Clean the spinach, wash it, and dry it thoroughly. Peel the garlic and shallot, then finely chop them. Cut the ham into slices or pieces.
-
Preheat the oven to 170 degrees Celsius. Crack the eggs into a bowl and lightly whisk them with a hand whisk. Add the milk, salt, pepper, and grated cheese. Mix the ingredients well.
-
Heat the oil in a deep ovenproof pan over medium heat. Add the spinach, shallot, and garlic, and sauté the ingredients for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the spinach wilts and the shallot softens slightly.
-
Reduce the heat to low and pour the egg mixture into the pan. Gently stir and distribute the ham over the egg mixture. Cook the frittata on low heat for 5 to 6 minutes until the bottom is lightly browned, then transfer the pan to the preheated oven and bake for another 10 minutes until the top is nicely set. Serve with toast or bread.
