Ingredients
-
1.5 spoons Butter, unsalted
-
500 g Flour, potato
-
500 ml Sweet cream
-
240 ml Soup base, chicken, cube
-
40 g Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose
-
0.5 teaspoons Salt, table
-
0.25 teaspoons Spices, pepper, white
-
2 pinch Spices, nutmeg, ground
-
400 g Spinach, raw
-
150 g Cheese, mozzarella
Steps
-
Clean the spinach, wash it thoroughly, and dry it. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Grease a 23 x 33 cm ovenproof dish well with butter. Place the uncooked gnocchi in the dish.
-
Place a medium saucepan on the stove, in which we mix the flour, cream, and chicken stock. While cooking over moderate heat, stir constantly with a hand whisk to prevent lumps from forming in the sauce. Cook the sauce for about 5 minutes or until it thickens. Season to taste with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Once the sauce thickens, remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the spinach.
-
Pour the sauce over the gnocchi and gently mix everything together with a spatula. Sprinkle grated cheese on top and place the dish in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes.
-
When the cheese on top turns golden brown, remove the dish from the oven and serve the gratin gnocchi on plates.
