Ingredients
-
250 g Spinach, raw
-
4 pieces Egg, fresh
-
2 dl Milk, whole milk
-
2 dl Sour cream
-
600 g Cheese, cottage cheese
-
200 g Butter, unsalted
-
1 pinch Salt, table
-
1 pinch Spices, pepper, black
-
10 spoon Butter, unsalted
-
400 g Dough, wonton
Steps
-
Place a tall pot of water on the stove and wait for it to boil. Submerge the spinach in the boiling water for three minutes to wilt and soften. Drain the spinach well, let it cool, and then slice it into thin strips.
-
In a bowl, whisk the eggs with a whisk, then add the milk, sour cream, cottage cheese, and kaymak, and mix everything well. Finally, mix in the spinach and season with salt and pepper. Place a small pot on the stove and melt 5 tablespoons of butter in it. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
-
Grease a round baking dish with melted butter. On a floured work surface, thinly roll out the phyllo dough and carefully trim the edges with a knife. Drizzle the entire surface of the dough with melted butter. Spread the filling over the dough, then roll it up to form a very long roll. Coil the roll into a spiral and carefully transfer it to the round baking dish, brush with butter, and bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes.
-
Let the baked pie cool slightly, slice it, and serve.
