Ingredients
-
3 pieces Egg, fresh
-
120 g Sugar, white
-
1 piece Sugar, white
-
1 dl Oil, plant, sunflower
-
2 dl Yogurt, plain, from whole milk
-
120 g Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose
-
1 piece Baking powder
-
4 spoon Marmalade, orange
-
200 g Strawberries
-
pieces Powdered sugar
-
pieces Butter, unsalted
-
pieces Mint
Steps
-
Beat the eggs and sugar (regular and vanilla) until frothy (at least 10 minutes in a kitchen mixer). Add yogurt and oil and mix well.
-
Sift the flour mixed with baking powder over the fluffy mixture. Gently mix with a whisk to prevent the mixture from deflating.
-
Grease a round baking pan (26 cm in diameter) with butter, then pour the prepared mixture into it. Gently shake the pan to level the mixture.
-
Drizzle a couple of tablespoons of strawberry jam (optional) over the mixture and swirl with a wooden stick to create a marbled pattern (as shown in the picture).
-
Slice the strawberries into rings and arrange them over the mixture.
-
Bake the pastry at 180 degrees Celsius for about 30 minutes (depending on the oven). Before removing it from the oven, check with a toothpick to see if the cake is baked (there should be no batter residue on it).
-
Let the baked pastry cool before serving. Once cooled, dust with powdered sugar, optionally decorate with mint leaves and flowers, and serve with a cup of coffee or another beverage.
