-
5 dl Soup base, chicken, cube

-
1 teaspoon Flour, Wheat, bread flour
Steps
-
Clean the vegetables, wash them, and cut them into large cubes. Heat oil in a pan, add the chopped vegetables, and slowly sauté them over low heat. Season with salt and pepper, but not too much, as we will also season the steaks. The vegetables should caramelize and slightly stick to the bottom of the pan.
-
Pour wine over the sautéed vegetables, and once it boils, add the broth. Cook until tender.
-
Add a spoonful of flour to the cooked vegetables and blend everything with an immersion blender to create a smooth sauce.
-
While the vegetables are cooking, prepare the steaks. Season them with salt, pepper, and sprinkle with sweet paprika. Quickly sear them on both sides in hot oil. Do not pound the steaks, as we want them to remain thick and juicy.
-
Once the steaks have a nice color, pour the vegetable sauce over them. Add a little water and gently shake the pan to distribute the sauce evenly. Braise the steaks in the sauce for about 20 minutes. Adjust the seasoning of the sauce if needed, and extend the cooking time slightly if you prefer a thicker sauce.
-
Serve the steaks in sauce with mashed potatoes, braised peas, and a large bowl of green salad.
