Stewed Apples with Flavored Cream

Wash the apples, peel them, and clean them (remove the stems and cores). Cut them into small pieces and place them in a pot. Pour lemon juice and brandy over the apples, sprinkle with sugar, and stew over low heat for about 15 minutes until they soften. Stir gently occasionally while stewing. Let the stewed apples cool slightly.

Just before serving the dessert, prepare the cream. Using a hand whisk or hand mixer, whip it until it thickens. Then add sugar and vanilla and continue whipping for another minute until the cream stiffens.

Prepare four small glasses for serving the dessert. First, add a layer of stewed apples to the glasses and cover with a layer of cream. Follow with another layer of apples and finish with a final layer of cream. Serve the prepared dessert immediately.

Advice
