Ingredients
-
250 ml Milk, whole milk
-
250 ml Sweet cream
-
3 pieces Egg, egg yolk, fresh
-
2 cups Strawberries
-
1 teaspoon Vanilla, extract, natural
-
100 g Sugar, white
Steps
-
Wash the strawberries, clean them, cut them into smaller pieces, and place them in a bowl. Add 50 g of sugar and mash the strawberries with a fork.
-
In a bowl, use an electric mixer to whisk the egg yolks and milk until frothy, then mix in the remaining sugar. Pour the mixture into a saucepan and place it on the stove. Cook until it reaches a boil, stirring constantly—but do not let it boil.
-
Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the milk cool to room temperature. Then, place it in the refrigerator for 3 hours. After this time, pour the milk into a multipurpose mixer, add the sweet cream, vanilla extract, and strawberries, and mix everything well. Pour the entire mixture into the ice cream maker and follow the manufacturer's instructions.
-
Transfer the prepared ice cream from the machine's container into a lidded container and freeze it in the freezer.

Advice
If you dont have an ice cream maker, place the mixture in the freezer just long enough for it to slightly set, but not freeze completely. Its best to use flat metal containers, as they conduct heat the best. Store the ice cream in the freezer in well-sealed containers to prevent it from absorbing other odors. Fill the ice cream makers container only two-thirds full, as the mixture will expand during freezing. The mixing time in the machine depends on the quantity, additives, and temperature of the mixture. If the ice cream has been in the freezer for more than 12 hours, let it sit in the refrigerator for 30 to 60 minutes before serving.
