2 piece Egg, fresh
-
1 teaspoon Vanilla, extract, imitation
-
200 g Sugar, white
-
280 ml Sweet cream
-
400 g Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose
-
0.5 teaspoons Salt, table
-
3 teaspoons Baking powder

200 g Strawberries
Steps
-
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Grease the muffin tin. In a bowl, beat the eggs, add vanilla extract, sugar, and sweet cream. Mix everything well with an electric mixer.
-
In another bowl, sift the flour, salt, and baking powder and mix well. Clean the strawberries, wash them thoroughly, and cut them into smaller pieces. Add the strawberry pieces to the flour, then pour the liquid mixture over it. Mix well to achieve a uniform batter.
-
Distribute the batter into the muffin tin and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. To check if the muffins are done, insert a toothpick into a muffin. If the tip of the toothpick comes out clean, the muffins are baked. Let the baked muffins cool. Arrange them on a serving plate and serve.

Advice
The ingredients for the muffins should only be quickly mixed with the dry ones. Mixing too long makes the dough tough, and the muffins wont rise enough during baking. The dough wont rise if we dont add baking powder or baking soda to the mixture. The latter makes the muffins especially airy. To easily remove the baked muffins from the molds, its best to sprinkle the molds with flour or grease them with butter. An even better option is to use paper liners placed in the muffin tin.
