Stuffed Peppers
When you dont know what to do with peppers and rice, use this recipe, add a pinch of your favorite spices, and enjoy the flavor!

Ingredients

9 pieces Bell pepper, green, fresh

1 piece Onion, raw

5 spoon Oil, plant, sunflower

3 pinch Spices, turmeric, ground

3 pinch Spices, cumin, seeds

5 pinch Spices, chili powder

300 g Tomato, pieces - can

80 g Cheese, feta

2 pinch Salt, table

6 spoon Rice, white, medium grain

Thoroughly wash the peppers, cut off the top part, and remove the seeds and inner white membrane. Dice one pepper into smaller cubes, and set aside the remaining eight for stuffing. Cut the feta cheese into smaller cubes. Peel and finely chop the onion. In a separate bowl, mix the diced pepper and feta cheese. Place a larger pan on the stove, heat it up, and then add the oil.

Quickly sauté the onion until it becomes translucent. Add turmeric, cumin, and chili. Also, add the rice and sauté until the grains become translucent, then add half of the tomatoes and tomato juice. Stir and cook for about 12 minutes. Mash the tomatoes with a fork.

Let the mixture cool, then mix in the feta cheese cubes and diced pepper. Season with salt to taste. Stuff the prepared peppers with this mixture. Simmer the remaining tomatoes in the pan and season them with salt. Cook for about 10 minutes. Serve the stuffed peppers on plates, pour the tomato sauce over them, and offer with a suitable side dish.
