Stuffed Pork Rolls in Sauce

Ingredients

600 g Meat, pork, curry without bones

150 g Cheese, mozzarella

100 g Tomato, dried

80 g Olives, black, in brine

1 handful Arugula

2 spoons Oil, vegetable oil, canola

1 piece Onion, raw

500 ml Soup base, beef, cube

2 spoons Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose

Clean the meat, wash it, and dry it well with paper towels. Cut it into thin slices and lightly pound them on both sides.

Slice the mozzarella and chop the sun-dried tomatoes and olives. Layer the slices with mozzarella, sun-dried tomatoes, olives, and arugula. Roll them up tightly, secure with toothpicks, and season the outside with pepper and salt.

Peel and finely chop the onion. Heat oil in a deep pan and sear the rolls on all sides until they get a nice brown color. Remove the seared rolls from the pan and keep them warm on a plate. Add the chopped onion to the pan and sauté while stirring. Pour in the broth and use a wooden spoon to scrape the bottom of the pan to release any bits from searing. Return the seared rolls to the pan, cover, and simmer for about 50 minutes.

Remove the simmered rolls from the pan and keep them warm on a plate. Sprinkle flour over the meat base and cook while stirring for about 3 minutes. Add enough water to combine the ingredients and create a smooth, thin sauce without lumps. Cook the sauce over medium heat for 15 minutes, stirring constantly, until it thickens nicely. Remove the toothpicks from the rolls. Return them to the pan with the sauce and quickly heat them up.

Serve the rolls on plates and pour the sauce from the pan over them. Add a side dish of your choice and serve the prepared meal.
