Ingredients
-
4 pieces Potatoes, white
-
3 pieces Onion, raw
-
3 spoons Oil, olive
-
400 g Meat, ground turkey
-
1 teaspoon Salt, table
-
2 pinch Spices, pepper, black
-
3 pinch Spices, nutmeg, ground
-
8 spoon Cheese, Parmesan, grated
-
2 spoons Butter, unsalted
Steps
-
Thoroughly wash the potatoes and scrub them if necessary. Place the cleaned potatoes in a large pot and cover them with enough cold water to fully submerge them. Place the pot on medium heat. Cook the potatoes for about 12 minutes until they soften slightly.
-
While the potatoes are cooking, prepare the filling. Clean and wash the green onions thoroughly. Finely chop the stems and set them aside for later, and also finely chop the green onions. Place a pan on the stove and heat some oil. Quickly sauté the green onions in the oil.
-
Then add the ground meat and cook it while stirring until the meat is well-browned on all sides. Pour in some warm water and season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg to taste. Cook for an additional 5 minutes until the water evaporates.
-
Drain the potatoes and let them cool slightly. Then cut them in half and scoop out the centers with a spoon. Mix the scooped-out potato into the sautéed meat. Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F). Fill the potato halves with the meat mixture and place them in a greased baking dish. Sprinkle the stuffed potato halves with grated Parmesan cheese.
-
Place the baking dish in the oven for 5-10 minutes. Once the cheese has melted and slightly browned, remove the dish from the oven. Arrange the stuffed potato halves on plates, sprinkle with the chopped green onion stems, and serve.
