Ingredients
-
1 kg Fish, squid
-
3 pods Garlic, fresh
-
10 twig Parsley, fresh
-
4 slice Bread, wheat
-
1 dl Milk, whole milk
-
0.25 teaspoons Salt, table
-
2 pinch Spices, pepper, black
-
20 dag Meat, pork, smoked ham
-
20 dag Cheese, edamame
-
2 spoons Oil, olive
-
0.5 piece Lemon, fresh, without shell
Steps
-
Clean the squid under running water and dry them with paper towels.
-
Finely chop the parsley and peeled garlic. Cut the bread into cubes, place them in a bowl, and pour a little milk over them to moisten. Add parsley, garlic, pepper, and salt, and mix everything well. Cut the cheese into larger pieces (the pieces should be large enough to be pushed through the opening of the squid). Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
-
Wrap the cheese pieces with slices of prosciutto. Use your fingers to widen the squid pouch and push the wrapped cheese inside. Add a little bread at the end. Be careful not to overfill the squid, as they can burst during baking. Press the opening together and secure it with a toothpick so the filling doesn't leak out during baking.
-
Grease a baking dish well and arrange the stuffed squid in it, drizzling them with lemon juice. Bake the squid in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes. Halfway through baking, turn them over to ensure they cook evenly on both sides.

Advice
For a better taste, you can pour a deciliter of white wine over the squid while baking, or you can also grill them. Instead of prosciutto, you can use slices of bacon or ham.
