Ingredients
-
1 piece Onion, raw
-
450 g Meat, beef, ground
-
1 cup Breadcrumbs, dried
-
1 piece Egg, fresh
-
2 pinch Salt, table
-
1 pinch Spices, pepper, black
-
1 spoon Oil, sesame
-
1 cup Water
-
120 ml Vinegar, apple
-
2 spoons Tomato, concentrate
-
220 g Sugar, brown
-
30 ml Soy sauce, shoyu
-
2 spoons Koruzni škrob
Steps
-
Peel, wash, and finely chop the onion. In a large bowl, mix together the meat, onion, breadcrumbs, crack in an egg, and season with salt and pepper. Knead everything well and then form the mixture into balls with a diameter of about 3 cm.
-
Place a pan on the stove and heat the oil. Add the meatballs to the hot oil and fry them well on all sides. Remove the pan from the heat for a moment.
-
Meanwhile, in a medium-sized bowl, add water and vinegar. Mix well. Then add tomato paste and stir until it completely dissolves in the liquid. Add sugar and soy sauce and mix well. Finally, add cornstarch, mix, and pour over the meatballs.
-
Return the pan to the stove and cook over medium heat for about 5 minutes, until the sauce thickens and begins to simmer slightly. Stir constantly while cooking to ensure all meatballs are evenly coated in the sauce.
-
Serve the meatballs immediately.
