Ingredients
-
3 pieces Dough, puff
-
100 g Chocolate spread, with hazelnuts
-
100 g Chocolate spread, with hazelnuts
-
1 piece Egg, fresh
-
pieces Raisins
Steps
-
Preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius. Line a large baking tray with baking paper, or you can unroll the first piece of puff pastry directly on the tray, with the paper it’s wrapped in underneath.
-
Spread chocolate spread over the pastry shaped like a fir tree. Cover with another piece of puff pastry, also shaped like a fir tree, and spread it with milk coconut spread.
-
Place the final piece of puff pastry on top, then use a knife to cut out the fir tree shape. Save the excess pastry.
-
Make parallel cuts on the left and right sides of the fir tree. Leave the center, the 'trunk,' intact. Carefully lift each 'branch' and twist it, longer ones two or three times, and those closer to the top just once.
-
Cut out stars or circles from the leftover pastry and use them to decorate the tree. Brush it with beaten egg and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
-
Carefully transfer the baked tree to a serving tray or board, then start decorating.
