Ingredients
-
620 g Potatoes, white
-
170 g Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose
-
75 g Koruzni škrob
-
1 spoon Sugar, white
-
0.5 teaspoons Salt, table
-
1 spoon Milk, partially skimmed
-
2 spoons Oil, plant, coconut
-
2 spoons Spices, poppy
-
4 spoon Agave, fresh
-
1 spoon Alcohol, Rum
-
0.5 teaspoons Vanilla, extract, natural
Steps
-
Wash the potatoes thoroughly under running water and place them in a large pot. Add enough cold water to the pot to completely cover the potatoes. Salt the water and place the pot on the stove. Cover the pot and cook the potatoes until they soften (approximately 25 minutes).
-
In a bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, starch, and salt. Drain the cooked potatoes and peel them. While still warm, immediately mash them in a clean bowl. Mix and mash until you get a smooth puree. Then add the flour mixture to the puree. Add soy milk and knead everything together into a smooth and soft dough.
-
Place a large pot of salted water on the stove and bring it to a boil. Meanwhile, shape the dough into balls, then roll them into longer rolls. Drop the rolls into the boiling water and cook them over medium heat (the water should simmer slowly) for 15 minutes, or until they become soft but still firm enough.
-
Remove the cooked rolls from the water using a slotted spoon and drain them. Place a pan on the stove and heat it well, then add coconut oil to the pan. Transfer the rolls to the pan and fry them for 5 minutes. Then place them in a serving bowl, sprinkle with poppy seeds, and drizzle with agave syrup, vanilla extract, and rum. Mix well and serve.
