0.5 kg Sweet potato

0.25 cups Butter, unsalted

0.25 cups Sweet cream

1 cup Nuts, chestnut, fresh

1 pinch Salt, table

Steps

Peel the sweet potatoes, wash them thoroughly under running water, and cut them into smaller pieces. Place the pieces in a pot. Cover the potatoes with enough cold water to fully submerge them, add salt, and cook over medium heat for 20 minutes or until they become tender. Drain the cooked potatoes and transfer them to a bowl.

Peel the cooked chestnuts and roughly chop them. Add butter, cooking cream, chestnuts, and spices to the bowl with the potatoes. Use an electric mixer to blend everything together until you get a creamy mixture. Transfer the prepared mash to a serving bowl and serve as a side dish.
