175 g Raisins
-
20 g Seeds, pumpkin
-
30 g Walnuts

-
3 dl Milk, sour
-
2 dl Water
-
1 piece Egg, fresh
-
1 spoon Oil, olive
-
0.5 spoons Flour, Wheat, bread flour
Steps
-
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Grease a narrow rectangular baking dish with oil and dust it with flour. Sort through the raisins. In a larger bowl, sift the flour and baking soda. Add sugar, raisins, chopped walnuts, and pumpkin seeds, and mix everything well. Then pour in water and vinegar, and mix everything into a soft and pliable dough.
-
Spread the dough into the prepared baking dish and distribute it evenly. Place the dish in the preheated oven for 40 minutes. In a bowl, beat an egg and whisk it well with a fork. 20 minutes before the end of baking, brush the dough with the egg and sprinkle with oat flakes and one tablespoon of brown sugar.
-
Remove the dish from the oven and turn the baked dough onto a wire rack. Wait for it to cool completely. Then cut it into slices and arrange them on the rack.
-
Preheat the oven to 210 degrees Celsius. Place the rack with the slices into the preheated oven and bake for another 5 minutes to slightly dry the slices.
-
Arrange the slices on serving plates and serve. You can offer homemade marmalade on the side.
