Ingredients
-
4 pieces Potatoes, white
-
500 g Swiss chard, fresh
-
pieces Oil, olive
-
2 pod Garlic, fresh
-
pieces Salt, table
Steps
-
Peel the potatoes, wash them, and cut them into pieces. Boil them in lightly salted water. Drain the cooked potatoes and store them in a covered container to keep them warm.
-
Clean and wash the Swiss chard. If the stems are tough, cut them off and chop them into smaller pieces. Tear or cut the leaves into larger pieces. Boil the tough stems first in salted water, and after a few minutes, add the leaves. Once the Swiss chard softens, drain it well.
-
Peel the garlic and chop or slice it thinly. Heat olive oil in a large pan (or pot) and sauté the garlic until fragrant. Remove the pan from the heat, then add the drained potatoes and Swiss chard. Mix everything well and season the side dish to taste with salt and ground pepper.
