Ingredients
-
3 pieces Banana, fresh
-
1 spoon Juice, lemon
-
300 g Flour, Whole wheat
-
1.5 teaspoons Baking powder
-
150 g Powdered sugar
-
125 g Butter, unsalted
-
2 piece Egg, fresh
-
125 g cherries, fresh
-
1 spoon Butter, unsalted
Steps
-
Cut the candied cherries in half. Cut the butter into pieces and slowly melt it in a pot over low heat. Prepare a cake pan by greasing it well and lining the bottom with baking paper. Peel the bananas, slice them into rounds, and place them in a bowl. Add lemon juice and mash them with a fork.
-
Preheat the oven to 160 degrees Celsius. In a larger bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and sugar, then add the bananas and melted butter. Gradually mix in the eggs while beating until the mixture becomes completely smooth. Finally, fold in the cherries.
-
Pour the prepared mixture into the greased pan and smooth the surface with a spoon. Place the pan in the oven for 45 to 55 minutes, allowing the cake to rise nicely.
-
Remove the baked cake from the oven. Use a palette knife to separate the cake from the sides of the pan and transfer it to a wire rack to cool slightly. Peel off the baking paper, cut the cake into individual slices, arrange them on a serving platter, and serve.
