Ingredients
-
750 g Meat, beef, thigh
-
1 piece Lemon, fresh, without shell
-
2 piece Chili peppers, red chili, fresh
-
4 spoon Peanuts, roasted without oil, unsalted
-
2 spoons Oil, vegetable oil, canola
-
2 spoons Spices, curry powder
-
750 ml Coconut milk
-
2 spoons Fish sauce
-
1 spoon Sugar, brown
-
2 spoons Spices, coriander - dried leaves
Steps
-
Thoroughly wash the meat and cut it into pieces of any size. Thoroughly wash the lemon and slice it into thin rings. Wash the chilies, remove the seeds, and slice them thinly. Grind the peanuts well or chop them very finely.
-
Place a wok on the stove and heat the oil. In the heated oil, stir in the curry paste with a spatula until it becomes fragrant. Add the beef and cook it by shaking the wok until it is browned on all sides. You can use a spatula to help. Pour coconut milk and fish sauce over the browned meat, add the lemon rings, chilies, and ground coriander, and bring everything to a boil.
-
Let it simmer gently for about 20 minutes until the beef becomes tender. Stir in the sugar and peanuts, transfer the dish to a serving bowl, and serve it to your guests. Optionally, garnish with fresh coriander leaves.

Advice
It is best to use organic lemons, whose peel is not treated with pesticides. If organic lemons are not available, immerse the lemon in boiling water for a few minutes and wipe it thoroughly to remove the wax containing toxins.
