Ingredients
-
120 ml Coffee, espresso
-
2 spoons Alcohol, Whisky
-
150 g Breadcrumbs, dried
-
2 piece Egg, fresh
-
1 spoon Sugar, white
-
1 bag Sugar, white
-
250 g Cheese, cottage cheese
-
1 teaspoon Orange, shell
-
200 ml Sweet cream
-
2 spoons Cocoa, powdered, unsweetened
-
pieces Coffee, espresso
Steps
-
Separate the egg whites and yolks into two bowls. Beat the yolks together with regular and vanilla sugar using an electric mixer until you get a light, pale yellow, frothy mixture. Mix the strained cottage cheese and grated orange zest into the beaten yolks. Beat the egg whites into stiff peaks, then gently and slowly fold them into the cottage cheese-yolk mixture in two or three additions. Finally, whip the sweet cream and gently fold it into the cream.
-
Pour the coffee into a bowl and mix it with the brandy. Break the ladyfingers into smaller pieces and add them to the bowl with the coffee. Mix the ingredients in the bowl well with a spoon so that all the pieces are well soaked.
-
Prepare the glasses in which you will serve the dessert. Fill the glasses to the top with the soaked ladyfingers and the cottage cheese cream (alternate layers of ladyfingers and cream). The ladyfingers should be at the bottom of the glasses, and the layering should end with a layer of cream. Refrigerate the dessert for at least 1 hour to allow the cream to cool well.
-
Take the glasses with the chilled dessert out of the refrigerator and sprinkle a little cocoa powder over the cream. Decorate the prepared dessert with coffee beans and serve.
