Tiramisu with Cream without Eggs
Although the original Italian tiramisu recipe includes eggs in the cream, this time we present a version that does not contain fresh eggs. Since the cream is made from sweet cream and mascarpone, the addition of grated orange zest is very welcome, as it adds a pleasant aroma and freshness to the rich cream.

Ingredients
-
500 ml Sweet cream
-
250 g Cheese, creamy
-
80 g Powdered sugar
-
60 ml Alcohol, Whisky
-
pieces Orange, shell
-
300 ml Coffee, espresso
-
175 g Breadcrumbs, dried
-
40 g chocolate, dark
-
2 teaspoons Cocoa, powdered, unsweetened
Steps
-
In a bowl with an electric mixer, thoroughly mix the sweet cream, mascarpone, and sugar. Mix until you get a smooth and thick cream that resembles whipped cream in texture. Gently fold in the grated orange zest and brandy into the prepared cream.
-
Pour coffee into a shallow bowl with a flat bottom. Dip the ladyfingers on both sides into the coffee and place them in a shallow glass baking dish. Once the bottom of the dish is completely covered with ladyfingers, spread 1/3 of the prepared cream over them. Grate most of the chocolate over the cream. Follow with a new layer of coffee-dipped ladyfingers. Finally, spread the remaining cream over the ladyfingers and smooth it out with the back of a spoon or spatula. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and store it in the refrigerator to let the dessert cool well (preferably overnight).
-
When you want to serve the dessert, take it out of the refrigerator and dust the top with cocoa powder. Grate a little more chocolate on top, serve the dessert on plates, and enjoy.

Advice
Instead of brandy, you can use sweet dessert wine, rum, coffee or chocolate liqueur. Leave the dessert in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours so that all the ingredients are well infused.
