Tofu Satay
Satay is a traditional Indonesian dish. Originally made with chicken and served with peanut sauce. Instead of chicken, you can also use tofu.

Ingredients

400 g Tofu

60 ml Coconut milk

1 spoon Juice, lime

0.5 spoons Ginger, fresh

1 teaspoon Honey

2 teaspoons Spices, coriander - seeds

1 teaspoon Spices, cumin, seeds

1 teaspoon Spices, turmeric, ground

0.25 teaspoons Spices, pepper, black

Steps

Thoroughly dry the tofu pieces with paper towels. In a shallow bowl, mix coconut milk, lime juice, ginger, honey, coriander, cumin, turmeric, salt, and pepper. Mix the marinade ingredients well!

Cut the tofu into slices about 1 cm thick, then cut them into rectangles approximately 2.5 x 10 cm in size. Place the tofu pieces in the prepared marinade and let them marinate for 1 to 2 hours. Turn the pieces several times during marinating.

Remove the marinated tofu pieces from the marinade and drain them. Carefully skewer each piece onto a wooden stick. Heat a grill pan well and grease it with coconut oil. Place the tofu skewers in the heated pan. Cook them for 1 to 2 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown.

Once the skewers are cooked, serve them on plates and offer them with peanut sauce.
