1 spoon Oil, olive

2 pod Garlic, fresh

5 pieces Tomato, red

3 pinch Sugar, white

60 ml Water

2 teaspoons Basil, fresh

Steps

Peel the garlic and finely chop it. Wash the tomatoes, remove the stems and green parts, and cut them into small pieces.

Heat the oil in a large pan and quickly sauté the garlic. Stir and be careful not to burn it. Add the tomatoes, sugar, water, basil, salt, and pepper.

Wait for the sauce to boil, then lower the temperature, cover the pan, and cook the sauce for another 45 minutes. Stir occasionally and slightly crush the tomatoes with a fork.

Pour the prepared sauce into a serving bowl and serve it warm.
