Tortellini in Cream Sauce with Mushrooms and Ham
A perfect and very simple dish to prepare, especially suitable for busy weekdays when we dont have much time for cooking.

Ingredients

400 g Pasta, Macaroni, whole grain

3 spoons Butter, unsalted

250 g Mushrooms, mushrooms, fresh

200 g Meat, pork, smoked ham

1 pod Garlic, fresh

400 ml Sweet cream

40 g Cheese, Parmesan, grated

Steps

Place a pot with a large amount of water for cooking the tortellini on the stove. While waiting for the water to boil, prepare the other ingredients.

Cut the ham into cubes or strips. Clean the mushrooms, wipe them with a damp cloth, and slice them into thick pieces. Peel the garlic and finely chop it.

Salt the water, then add the tortellini and cook them for the time indicated on the package.

Meanwhile, prepare the sauce. Heat butter in a pan and sauté the mushrooms and ham in it.

When the mushrooms have dried out, add the garlic and sauté everything together for another minute, stirring, to let the garlic release its aroma.

Pour in the cream and add the Parmesan. Mix well until the cheese is completely melted. Season the sauce to taste with salt and ground pepper, then mix in the drained tortellini.

Serve the dish on plates. Top with a little more grated Parmesan or chopped parsley if desired.
