Tuna Melt Sandwich

Ingredients

4 slice Bread, wheat

2 piece Onion, young

1 piece Green, raw

160 g Fish, tuna, in brine

pieces Mayonnaise

2 spoons Corn, yellow, in brine

1 teaspoon Mustard

Steps

Peel and finely chop the onion and celery. Drain the corn and tuna from the can.

In a bowl, add the drained tuna, corn, chopped onion, celery, mayonnaise, mustard, salt, and ground pepper. Mix the ingredients well to form a uniform mixture, and season with lemon juice to taste.

Slice the cheese that will be used for the melt sandwiches into thin slices.

Spread butter on both sides of the bread slices. Place the tuna mixture on two slices of bread, then layer the cheese slices on top. Cover the sandwiches with the remaining bread slices.

Place a pan on the stove and heat it over medium heat. Add the prepared sandwiches to the hot pan and let them cook for 3-4 minutes, until the bottom side of the bread is golden brown and the cheese begins to melt. Carefully flip the sandwiches and cook the other side until golden brown. You can cover the pan while cooking to help the cheese melt thoroughly.
