Tuna Patties with Potatoes

Ingredients

1 piece Potatoes, white

4 can Fish, tuna, in brine

1 piece Egg, fresh

1 piece Onion, raw

1 spoon Mustard

1 spoon Breadcrumbs, dried

1.5 teaspoons Spices, garlic powder

Steps

Peel the potatoes, wash them, and cut them into pieces, then cook them in salted water. Drain the tuna in a colander and let it drain well. Peel the onion and finely chop it.

Drain the cooked potatoes and return them to the hot pot. Stir them over low heat for 1-2 minutes (be careful not to burn them) to let the excess water evaporate, then transfer them to a bowl and mash them with a fork. Add the drained tuna, onion, breadcrumbs, egg, mustard, and spices, and mix everything well to form a uniform mixture. Divide the mixture into eight parts and shape them into round patties with wet hands.

Fry the patties in a pan with heated oil. Cook them in batches, about 3 minutes on each side. Once cooked, serve them on plates and offer with any side dish of your choice.
