Ingredients
Filling
-
2 piece Egg, hard-boiled
-
60 g Bell pepper, red, fresh
-
140 g Fish, tuna, in oil
-
1 teaspoon Spices, oregano, dried
-
6 spoon Ketchup
-
pieces Salt, table
-
550 g Dough, puff
-
1 piece Egg, fresh
Steps
-
Peel the hard-boiled eggs and add them to an electric chopper along with the drained bell pepper, tuna, oregano, and ketchup. Finely chop the ingredients to achieve an almost smooth mixture, which you can season with pepper and salt to taste.
-
Unroll the puff pastry and use a round cutter (7 to 8 cm in diameter) to cut out circles. Crack an egg into a bowl and beat it with a fork. Place a spoonful of the filling in the center of each circle and brush the edges well with the beaten egg. Fold the pastry over the filling to form crescent-shaped pockets, pressing the edges firmly together to prevent them from opening during baking.
-
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Arrange the pockets on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Brush the tops with the beaten egg and prick them with a fork or toothpick. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes. They are done when they puff up and turn golden brown on top.
