Steps

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Grease a round cake pan, 20 cm in diameter, with butter.

In a bowl, beat the eggs and whisk them together with sugar and salt until the mixture doubles in volume. Mix in the sour cream and oil.

In another bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and cocoa powder, then fold the mixture into the egg mixture with a spatula.

Clean the bowl used for the dry ingredients, then add the cottage cheese and mix it with the eggs, regular and vanilla sugar, and breadcrumbs. Blend the mixture with a hand mixer.

Pour the chocolate mixture into the cake pan, then spoon the cottage cheese mixture into the center in a circular shape, leaving a visible ring of the chocolate mixture around it. Smooth the top.

Bake the cake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes, then let it cool. Once cooled, dust with powdered sugar if desired.
