Ingredients
-
4 pieces Egg, fresh
-
1 spoon Vanilla, extract, imitation
Steps
-
In a small bowl, mix black food coloring with two teaspoons of vinegar. Pour water into the mixture until it reaches halfway up the bowl. Place hard-boiled eggs into the bowl. The longer the eggs remain in the dye, the darker the shade will be. Once the eggs are removed from the dye, gently dry them with a paper towel and place them on a holder. On a palette, squeeze out yellow, white, red, blue, and green colors so they do not touch each other. Prepare a glass of clean water, an old cloth, and brushes of varying thicknesses.
-
Firmly hold the dyed egg in your hand and mix yellow and red colors on the palette so that yellow dominates. Start painting in the center of the egg and create three flower petals. Dip the brush into red paint to get a slightly darker shade than before and create four side flowers. Rinse the brush and wipe it with a dry cloth. Pick up white paint and draw lines in the center of the flowers, as shown in the photo. Use white paint to also paint the stems, rinse the brush, and wipe it.
-
Mix a very small amount of blue and red paint and use the thinnest brush to highlight the center of the flower petals. Rinse the brush and wipe it. Dip a clean brush into red and white paint to create pink. Paint the center of the large flower.
-
Mix white and green paint so that white dominates. Use leaf green paint to draw the leaves of the rose. Paint the edges of the leaves with a darker green, while the center should be lighter—use more white paint. Avoid black paint, as a darker shade for highlights can be achieved with blue and red—violet, which is minimally used with a thin brush. Before starting to paint the entire egg, the painted side must be dried. Use a hair dryer to help.
-
Dip the brush into blue paint and paint circles—like flowers. Rinse the brush, wipe it, and pick up yellow paint, which you dab into the centers of the flowers. Leaves are not always necessarily green; play with yellow paint to illustrate the leaves of the flower.
