Ingredients

1 l Ice cream, vanilla

6 teaspoon Dressing, strawberry

25 g Butter, unsalted

1 spoon Honey

2 spoons Sugar, white

0.5 teaspoons Spices, ginger, ground

1 spoon Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose

1 piece Lemon, fresh, without shell

Steps

Wash the organic orange and organic lemon, then finely grate both peels. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.

Place a small saucepan with a double bottom on the stove, and add butter, honey, and sugar. Heat the ingredients slowly, stirring occasionally, until they dissolve. Add ginger, one tablespoon of lemon and orange zest, and flour. Mix well to form a smooth mixture and remove the saucepan from the heat. Lightly grease two baking sheets (or line them with baking paper). Place about 2 tablespoons of batter on each sheet, spreading it into a circle about 5 cm in diameter.

Place the baking sheets in the oven and bake the batter for 12-14 minutes until it turns golden brown. Then remove it from the oven and let it sit on the baking sheets for exactly one minute to slightly harden. Meanwhile, prepare 6 upside-down molds or cups.

Lift each piece of batter with a spatula and place it on a mold or cup. Smooth the top of the pastry to form the base of the baskets, and fold the edges into a wavy shape. Work quickly, as the batter hardens fast.

Wash the mint, shake it well, and pluck the leaves. Once the pastry has completely cooled, lift the baskets from the molds and place them on plates. Serve two scoops of vanilla ice cream in each basket and drizzle with strawberry sauce. Garnish with mint leaves, add chocolate shavings if desired, and serve to your guests.

Advice
Instead of vanilla, you can also use another flavor of ice cream. Its best to use organic lemons, whose peel is not treated with pesticides. If organic lemons are not available, submerge the lemon in boiling water for a few minutes and wipe it well to remove the wax, which contains toxins.
