Ingredients
Panna cotta
-
1 bag Gelatin powder, unsweetened
-
4 spoon Water
-
500 ml Sweet cream
-
300 ml Milk, whole milk
-
60 g Sugar, white
-
1 piece Vanilla, extract, imitation
Strawberry sauce
-
450 g Strawberries
-
70 g Sugar, white
-
0.5 spoons Juice, lemon
-
2 spoons Water
Steps
-
Sprinkle gelatin into a bowl and mix it with cold water. Let it sit for 5 minutes to allow the gelatin to swell and thicken.
-
Pour milk and sweet cream into a saucepan. Cut the vanilla pod in half and scrape out the seeds with the tip of a knife. Add the seeds along with sugar and the vanilla pod to the saucepan. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until all the sugar dissolves.
-
Just before the cream boils, remove the saucepan from the heat and take out the vanilla pod. Add the swollen gelatin and mix well until the gelatin completely dissolves in the hot liquid.
-
Pour the prepared mixture into clean glasses. Fill them up to three-quarters and let the panna cotta cool to room temperature. Then, refrigerate the glasses for a few hours to allow the mixture to cool and set properly.
-
Clean the strawberries and cut them into pieces. Add them to a saucepan along with sugar, lemon juice, and water. Place on the stove and let the mixture simmer slowly over low heat, then remove from the heat.
-
Blend the strawberry sauce with an immersion blender until smooth. Strain it through a fine sieve to remove any seeds.
-
Wait for the strawberry sauce to cool to room temperature, then spoon it over the set panna cotta. Keep the dessert refrigerated until serving.

Advice
Instead of a vanilla pod, you can use vanilla paste or extract. Mix it into the mixture after removing the saucepan from the heat.
