Ingredients

50 ml Milk, whole milk

120 ml Sweet cream

12 g Sugar, white

1 pod Vanilla, extract, natural

2 piece Egg, egg yolk, fresh

Pour milk and cream into a saucepan. Add half of the sugar and vanilla seeds, then place it on the stove. Mix the other half of the sugar with the egg yolks.

When the milk mixture comes to a boil, pour it over the egg yolks and mix everything well. Pour the mixture back into the saucepan and heat it to 82 to 85 degrees Celsius while stirring constantly. It is ready when it thickens - if you run your finger over the spoon, a visible trace should remain.

Strain the prepared sauce through a fine sieve into a bowl. Cover it with plastic wrap to prevent a skin from forming on the surface while cooling. Let the sauce cool.
