Ingredients

5 pieces Onion, raw

3 pods Garlic, fresh

2 spoons Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose

4 dl Soup base, beef, cube

1 spoon Spices, paprika

Steps

Lightly pound the cutlets and season them with salt and pepper. Slice the onion and chop the garlic.

Heat oil in a pan and fry the cutlets on both sides. Transfer them to a plate.

Add the onion to the pan and sauté it over medium heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until softened. Add more oil if needed.

Add the garlic and stir, then sprinkle flour over the onion and quickly sauté it.

Pour broth or water over the onion. Add paprika powder, stir, and wait for the sauce to come to a boil.

Return the cutlets to the pan, add a bay leaf, and cook the dish covered for 40 minutes over low heat until the cutlets become tender.
