Ingredients
-
1 cup Flour, buckwheat
-
1 cup Oat bran, raw
-
1 teaspoon Spices, cinnamon, ground
-
1 piece Apple, fresh
-
1 piece Banana, fresh
-
6 pieces Date, fresh or dried
-
pieces Honey
Steps
-
Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius, line a baking tray with parchment paper. Wash the apple and cut it into quarters, remove the core, then grate it (one half finely, the other coarsely). Peel the banana and mash it with a fork, pit the dates and cut them into pieces.
-
In a bowl, mix buckwheat flour, oatmeal, and cinnamon. Add the grated apple, mashed banana, and chopped dates, and mix everything well to form a soft and sticky dough. Taste the mixture and if it seems not sweet enough, add a teaspoon or two of any natural sweetener.
-
Place dollops of the dough on the baking tray. Leave a few centimeters of space between them as the cookies will spread slightly during baking. Shape the dollops with your hands into slightly thicker round cookies and bake them in the preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes until they are browned on the outside.
-
Transfer the baked cookies to a wire rack and let them cool completely. Serve them with a cup of warm or cold beverage.
