Vegan Chocolate Mousse
An excellent vegan dessert that can also be enjoyed by those who cannot consume eggs. The base of the dessert is silken tofu, which, with the addition of melted chocolate and sugar syrup, is transformed into an exceptionally tasty, light, and creamy treat.

Ingredients

100 g Sugar, white

100 ml Water

450 g Tofu, hard

220 g chocolate, dark

1 teaspoon Vanilla, extract, imitation
Steps

Place a small pot with sugar and water on the stove. Heat the contents slowly over low heat, stirring until all the sugar dissolves. Bring the mixture to a boil and let it simmer for a few minutes until it thickens slightly and becomes a clear sugar syrup. Remove the pot from the heat and let the syrup cool slightly. Melt the chocolate in a double boiler.

Cut the tofu into smaller pieces and place them in a food processor or blender. Add the sugar syrup, melted chocolate, and vanilla extract, and blend until you achieve a completely smooth chocolate mixture.

Fill small ceramic bowls with the chocolate mixture and place them in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to allow the mousse to cool and set completely. You can garnish the dessert with chocolate shavings or grated chocolate before serving.

Advice
