Vegan Chocolate Pudding
This dessert is free of eggs, dairy, and flour. The delicious cream is made simply from dates, cocoa powder, and avocado. And if you think it cant be good, youre seriously mistaken!

Ingredients

180 g Date, fresh or dried

480 ml Water

1 piece Avocado, fresh

1 pinch Salt, table

30 g Cocoa, powdered, unsweetened
Steps

Place the dates in a bowl, pour boiling water over them, and let them sit for 15 to 30 minutes.

Drain the soaked dates, reserving the soaking liquid. Transfer them to a food processor and blend with 100 to 200 ml of the reserved liquid until smooth. Cut the avocado in half and remove the pit. Scoop out the flesh and add it to the food processor. Add the cocoa powder and salt, then blend until a smooth cream forms. Add more liquid if needed.

Serve the pudding in bowls and chill well in the refrigerator before serving if desired.

Advice
Dates can also be soaked in almond or coconut milk. If the pudding is not sweet enough, you can add a little honey, maple syrup, or agave syrup. Before serving, the prepared pudding can be garnished with grated (vegan) chocolate.
