4 pieces Egg, fresh
-
2 piece Tomato, red
-
1 teaspoon Mayonnaise
-
1 pinch Salt, table
Steps
-
Place a small pot on the stove and pour half a liter of water into it. Carefully place the eggs into the water using a spoon and lightly salt the water. Wait for the water to boil, then remove the pot from the heat and let the eggs sit in the water for another 8 minutes.
-
Drain the eggs and cool them under cold running water. Peel them and cut off the bottom part. Thoroughly wash the tomatoes and cut them in half. Use a coffee spoon to scoop out some of the flesh from the tomato halves. Be careful not to damage the skin!

Place the eggs on a plate with the cut side down. Place the hollowed-out tomato halves on top of the eggs. Decorate the tomato skins with dots of mayonnaise. You can use a toothpick to help with this, or simply squeeze the mayonnaise directly from the tube.

Use the vegetable mushrooms as a decoration for sandwiches.
