Ingredients

220 g Butter, unsalted

200 ml Sweet cream

220 g Sugar, white

4 pieces Egg, fresh

220 g Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose

1 teaspoon Baking powder
Filling

150 ml Sweet cream

6 spoon Marmalade, orange

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Using an electric mixer, beat softened butter, cream, and sugar into a creamy mixture. Add the eggs one by one and mix well. Finally, add the sifted flour and baking powder and gently fold them in with a spatula or spoon.

Pour the batter into a greased round baking pan. Bake for 20 minutes or until the sponge cake turns golden. Let the baked cake cool, then cut it horizontally in half.

In a bowl, whip the sweet cream. Spread jam on the bottom half of the cake, then carefully and evenly spread the whipped cream over it. Cover with the other half of the cake. Serve the cake on a nice plate or platter, dust with powdered sugar, and enjoy.
