-
175 g Butter, unsalted
-
60 g Powdered sugar
-
175 g Wheat flour, white, multi-purpose
-
1.5 teaspoons Baking powder
-
pieces Vanilla, extract, natural
-
90 g chocolate, dark
-
20 g Butter, unsalted
Steps
-
Melt the butter in a cup and set it aside. In a bowl, whisk the melted butter and sugar until fluffy. Add the flour, baking powder, vanilla extract, and mix everything into a smooth batter.
-
Preheat the oven to 160 °C. Grease a baking tray with butter. Transfer the batter into a piping bag and pipe seven-centimeter-long strips onto the tray. Bake the biscuits in the preheated oven for 20 minutes until golden brown. Remove the baked biscuits from the oven and let them cool.
-
In a small pot, bring four deciliters of water to a boil, which will be used for a water bath. Place a bowl over the water bath and add the chocolate, melting it into a smooth mixture while stirring occasionally.
-
Dip both ends of each biscuit into the chocolate, then place them back on the baking tray to let the chocolate coating set.

Instead of cooking chocolate, you can use couverture chocolate, which sets faster.
